Due to this house being positioned right on the edge of the Table View beachfront, spectacular views can be appreciated from both the ground and first floors. The existing house was partly demolished on ground floor to achieve a spacious, open plan entertainment area with big openings to the full view from all areas. The protected back area was included into the main living area by a big folding door which creates a good flow into the garden and pool area while still allowing views from this space. The existing bedroom upstairs has been turned into a TV room and the new Main Bedroom with en Suite bathroom makes use of the prestige top floor position and gives even better views when either lying in your bed or enjoying a bath. A main aspect of the brief was that the house needed to be maintenance free where possible. The house will have new finishes internally and externally. The initial face brick will be plastered and painted combined with elements of shiplap Fibre Cement cladding., emphasising the context of the beach. Wooden lime washed elements combined with white will give the house a modern, crisp beach feel. The house is going to be finished shortly.
