House Brand
This existing house in Atlantic Beach Golf Estate was lacking a good flow of internal and external living. To optimize the space and to create a central kitchen and entertainment area the kitchen was moved to the heart of the ground floor opening onto a covered courtyard, designed to create a cosy sunken seating area, protected from the elements. The lounge was pulled forward toward the garden to incorporate the outdoors more efficiently.
Oak was used extensively throughout as flooring, on the stairs and as internal cladding, combined with black large scale tiles to give the house a warm but contempary feel. All the bathrooms were refurbished, with each receiving it's own style. Walnut cladding, with grey natural stone tiles for the main en suite, black tiles with oak cladding for the Guest WC and a slick grey and white scheme for the guest bathroom.
